Faux Plants — Realistic Fake Succulents
A living succulent fails in exactly the ways a person is bad at noticing — too much light, too little, a watering schedule that drifts by a week and then two. This collection skips that risk entirely by skipping the biology. Every piece is modelled on a specific species down to the leaf structure, not a generic rounded blob standing in for "succulent" in general.
Placement stops being a decision here — a windowless bathroom, a north-facing shelf, a desk under fluorescent light all work identically, because none of it matters to something that was never alive to begin with. Chive designs these alongside the ceramic line, in the Toronto studio, with the same attention to color and proportion. The only maintenance is a dusting, whenever it occurs to you.
