How do I open a wholesale account with Chive?
Fill in the trade application on this site with your store name and resale details, and you will hear back by email, usually the same day, with your login. Once you are signed in, trade pricing appears on every product, and you can order by the case. There is nothing to negotiate and no sales rep to wait for; the account is yours the day you apply.
Is there a minimum order for wholesale home decor?
Chive sells by the case, and most items ship in cases of six, so the case is the ordering unit. Mixed cases are not offered; a case is one design in one glaze or pattern unless the product page says otherwise. Reorders follow the same case rule, which keeps shelf sets complete and makes restocking a two-minute job.
Where do wholesale orders ship from, and how fast?
Orders for US retailers ship from New York and orders for Canadian retailers ship from Toronto, in two to four days. Because each country is served from inside its own border, there are no customs forms, brokerage fees or border delays on your side. Free shipping applies at $500; below that, shipping is calculated at checkout.
Do you sell wholesale home decor to small businesses and new stores?
Yes — independent and first-year stores are the retailers Chive was built for. The trade application is the same for a single shop and a chain, the case pack is the same, and there is no tiered pricing that punishes smaller orders. If you are opening a plant shop or gift store and want a shelf that looks curated on day one, start with one case each of planters, wall flowers and Pooley vases.

What payment terms do you offer trade customers?
Trade accounts can prepay at checkout or apply for net terms; the option appears once you are signed in. Card, Apple Pay and Google Pay are accepted for prepaid orders. Net terms are reviewed per account.
Can I see wholesale prices before I open an account?
Trade pricing is shown only to signed-in trade accounts, so prices are not visible on this site until your application is approved. Approval usually comes back by email the same day, so the wait is short. Case packs, lead times and product details are visible to everyone.
Do you supply garden centers and botanical gardens?
Yes — Chive pots, wall flowers and Shido seed racks are sold at quality plant shops, garden centers and botanical gardens across the United States and Canada, and the studio is carried by 200+ institutions including the Getty Museum and the Art Institute of Chicago.
