Looking for an alternative to small vases for flowers? This range of UFO Dishes s are not only colored vases – they are made to hold one of Chive’s Floral Frogs. Clearly flying saucer inspired, these ceramic dishes are simple, sleek creations so that you can put the focus on your Ikebana arrangements. Ikebana being “the art of Japanese flower arrangement, with formal display according to strict rules”.

These can be used alongside either our Small or Medium Chive Floral Frogs. The stems of the flower are cut to your desired height, then impaled onto a prick of the pin. Because the water shoots up the stem of the flower, Floral Frogs help extend the life of the bud. Lastly, place your creation into the U.F.O and fill with water. Et voila, we’ve already broken all the rules of Ikebana!
